Some incredible stories have recently been about unexpected friendships that people just can’t get enough of. One of these stories is about a mailman named Jason and a super friendly Labrador retriever named Piper.
This heartwarming tale has been making its rounds on the internet. It shows how special the connections between people and animals can be. It’s pretty amazing how these bonds can touch so many hearts, don’t you think?
The initial encounter between Jason and Piper happened during a routine delivery. Jason saw Piper’s friendly demeanor while delivering a package and offered a pat through the mail slot.
“Every morning the mailman comes to say hi to our pup. It’s her favorite time of the whole day, and she gets depressed whenever he doesn’t come,” Danielle (@djperelman) says in the video. “Thank goodness for mailmen like Jason. Thanks for being so nice to Piper.”
What started as a simple gesture became a daily ritual, with Jason greeting Piper daily. This routine made Piper happy and became an important part of Jason’s daily routine.
Piper eagerly waits by the door each day, showing her excitement as she waits for Jason to arrive. Too cute.
